So, I just took the time today to search for something that would bring me more compatibilty with Microsoft Office. The thing is that I really don't like to use Microsoft Office and, as a matter of fact, I don't use it since OpenOffice.org 1.1 (or so, perhaps even earlier). But my girlfriend happens to use Microsoft Office a lot. She writes all her essays and documents on M$ Office, and then asks me to review them or something --which I can't do correctly sometimes because of compatibility issues. Anyway, I just found what I was looking for. (yey! ) I don't know when did this come out, somehow I didn't read about it until today, but Sun has developed a plugin for Microsoft Office (2000, XP, 2003) which enables this office suite to read, edit, and save to the ODF format. And the best part, as always, is that the plugin is free. Thanks SUN!
